My dad was just showing me some videos on the upcoming Wildstar, and it is so frickin' cool!  It's currently in beta, but Dad's expecting it to go live in the fall.  He has, of course, signed up for the beta, but he's not gotten in just yet

It's worth watching even if you have no interest in the game!

What really caught my interest is the housing system.  Check it out in the Dev Speak video here:

*happy shudder*  It looks like all of the very best elements of the FaunaSphere and Glitch housing, but with kick-ass graphics and interface!

There are currently four CLASSES of character, and six RACES.  There are four PATHS you can take (at the moment):  Explorer, Scientist, Soldier, and Settler -- and two of these already have videos up (just follow the PATHS link.)

I was watching the live stream from Comic-Con with my dad yesterday, and there are some really interesting innovations in RPG play.

I know that MMORPG's like Wildstar really aren't the GGG demographic, but I keep mentioning updates in case someone's interested

My dad has gotten in on three beta weekends thus far, and he didn't expect to be "wild" about it because of the way the colors are used, but he LOVES it.  He is SO anticipating the release!   Someone -- I don't know who, or how they know -- let it slip that the game will go into pre-order on March 19th, and be released on June 3rd.  The information was quickly removed from the site, BUT, Reddit still had the info, which Dad showed to me.  If anyone wants to see the info, I'll see if I can dig up the link, but in the meantime, this has been your Wildstar update for March 11, 2014!
