Rhianna Ford & the Da Vinci Letter (IHOG-lite)

This game is primarily a HOG with some light interaction and some puzzles.

I was happy to start this game, as it was something different than I've been playing lately. The graphics are very nice and the items well hidden. Perhaps hidden isn't the right word. List items are strategically and skillfully placed, creating a seamless effect - no "junk pile" scenes in this game! Yes, you will find things in odd places, but the way they are placed make them seem like they should be there.

Between chapters are almost graphic novel-like cutscenes. The cartooney style of the cutscenes may put off some folks, but they are integral to the story. The rest of the game has the lovely graphics I described above.

The story is immersive, and I found myself actually rushing through the hidden object scenes to get to more of the story. Like many HOG's (and especially crime-related ones), you will have to suspend disbelief and just go with the story. I found quite a few things questionable, but the story is still solid enough to keep me interested throughout.

Finishing the game unlocks free-play mode, which is a perk for those who enjoy unlimited hidden object scenes.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, so if you like mystery-suspense stories, I suggest giving it a try :thumb:
