Your farming village is under attack by an army of angry scarecrows come to life! These straw warriors have awakened from decades of sleep, determined to exact vengeance for their years of silent servitude. Use your Match 3 skills, strategy, and speed to keep the oncoming army at bay during the Night of the Scarecrows! Defend the village using torches, pitchforks, animal allies, and don't let the scarecrows reach the village gates.

Night of the Scarecrows (M3/Arcade)

This is the kind of quirky-scary artwork that I so enjoy.

The game is worth downloading just to see the opening scene and the you-lose scene.

Gameplay itself is your typical arcade game / match three. Burn the matching scarecrow groups (one click, no swapping or dragging) before they get to the farmhouse. Unlike most of these match-group games, though, the scarecrows come from the TOP of the screen.

Bonuses in the early levels include:

A crow, which you get by matching groups of seven or more. When used, the crow will carry off all of the matching scarecrows in that vertical column.
- HINT: Click on the scarecrow you want to remove, but click the one LOWEST in the column to get the crow to carry the matching scarecrows off.

A billy goat, which will wander out of its pen now and then. Grab it and use it to remove one horizontal column.
- The scarecrows' faces are so funny when the billy goat is on the way! lol~

This is a typical arcade game in that once you "die", that's it, game over. Unless you like fast gameplay, this game probably isn't for you. The cut-scenes (which are SKIPPABLE) are SO awesome, though! I will be using up my demo watching the cut-scenes over and over again. Mahaha~

There are many options for gameplay, including difficulty level, music (which was so-so), sound effects (funny), animation, HINTS and full-screen.

I recommend downloading it for - if nothing else - the giggle.  The scarecrows are coming for you!
