I bought this from GameHouse - it's an amazing game.   Big smile

But there's a bug in the church.  When you put key in the door, the screen just turns black.   OH!

I've contacted the people that made it, and hopefully get a reply soon.  Fingers crossed.

Frodo--Did you get a response about that glitch?   I had the same thing happen.

Just when it was really getting good   OH!

    spoiler:
Was shocked to read the note about him shooting you -know-who!

Now,  are we playing the character who

    spoiler:
    left the notes?

I went to Game House and went through Customer Service.   I think I will also contact the devs.

Its not listed in their games list    Hmm...

Ok, found under Darkmoor Manor.     Sent them an e-mail.

Luvtoread, yeah, I got a response from the game developers.  Apparantly, that's right at the end of the game, which makes it rather an abrupt ending.   Huh?

    Hi Jan,

We are sorry to hear about that. It seems that the end credits do not seem
to be loading for you, the point you have reached is the end of the game and
the video for this is not loading. We will have a look in to this and see
what we can do. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

    Kind Regards,
    Inertia Software Support

    Things were really heating up.
    Spoiler:
I was also shocked, when I read about the shooting.   OH!    I noticed he had really been enjoying the wine more and more, and it was affecting him... making him imagine things.  So I knew *something* was going to happen.

When I think about it, I'm not sure which character we're playing.
    Spoiler:
In some ways, it seems like we're playing the character who wrote the notes.  But in other ways, it seems like we've just arrived, and we're finding theses notes about events that happened years before, by someone who used to live there.

So I'm not really sure.   Hmm...

By the way, what was the point of
    Spoiler:
the bucket?  I got the bucket, and used it on the well.  But it disappeared in the well.  Then when we found the secret tunnel that went under the well... the bucket was there... but there was no use for it.   Huh?

That's the ending???    That really is abrupt....wow.   I jokingly asked them if it was a
glitch or we really weren't allowed to escape.

    Your last spoiler  about

    spoiler:
the bucket.  Did you notice the ?  pop up when the chain came
up empty?  I actually tried it a couple of more times.

    Oh,   about

    spoiler:
the part where he threw the assistant down the stairs into the
basement.  I don't remember,  but there wasen't a dead body down there?
OOOOHHHH!!!   Now I know!!!   We are playing the assistant who was thrown
    down the stairs!!!
         D\\'oh!

One more thing I am remembering:

    spoiler:
The note said he put the lawyer's body in the car and tried
to drive the car into the lake,  but there was no body in the car.  Did the
letter mention anything about taking the body out and throwing it in the
    water?  I didn't think so.

    Luvtoread, yeah, I noticed
    Spoiler:
the ? when the chain came up empty, with no bucket.  But I still don't understand the point in that.  The bucket fell into the well, and when we find it in the secret tunnel, we can't do anything with it.   Hmm...

    About the car...
    Spoiler:
If I remember correctly, the note said that he had intended to make it look as though the body had drivin the car into the water, but when that backfired, he pulled the body out the car, and threw it in the water himself.

lol, you lot are certainly keeping a tight rein on your tongues! And I'm being very good and not reading it. By the time I get to this game though, I'll have forgotten everything anyway!  Elk grin

Genki, yeah, I did that, thanks. And
    Spoiler:
You put key in the church door, and you step out into a cemetary... then the end credits roll

    Abrupt ending Huh?

Luvtoread, did you get a response from them yet?   Rolling Eyes

I did get a response from Game House..they didn't know anything.   The funny thing is I told
them what you had told me...that it was suppose to be game credits rolling.
I received another response,  which essentially said they could not help.
I really wasen't looking for help the second time.   Oh Well,

Nothing from the Game Studio.   Its Ok.   As long as we know we are not missing out on
    more gameplay!
