    White Chocolate-Cinnamon Fudge

Post by genkicoll on Mon Sep 30, 2013 2:26 pm

My brother was experimenting and came up with this AMAZING fudge:

    White Chocolate-Cinnamon Fudge aka
SWEET ROLL FUDGE by Genki's brother (all hail king bro! We\'re Unworthy!  )

    1 Stick Butter or Margarine
    1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
    1 Jar Marshmallow Cream
1 24-oz Bag White Chocolate Chips (or use two of the smaller bags) (Nestle's tastes the best!)
Cinnamon to taste -- at least one TBS

Melt butter at a med-low temperature. Add condensed milk and stir occasionally until melted together.

I add the cinnamon at this point.  Add until the cinnamon is a bit too strong to your taste, then add the white chocolate chips, stirring until fully melted and mixed.

Remove from heat and stir in the marshmallow cream until fully mixed.

Then pour into a pre-prepared Pyrex or casserole dish lined with wax paper. Put into the refrigerator for an hour or two.

Once the candy has set, grip the waxed paper at the edges and pull gently until the fudge pops out of the pan.  Gently loosen the paper from the fudge, and putting the waxed paper back in place, set on a cutting board.

Slice fudge using a pizza cutter (this part is my contribution Wink  )  AWESOMELY easy way to cut it without much effort.

This fudge is pure evil.  EVIL I say!  *drool*  So good!

I can't eat cinnamon rolls anymore (gluten intolerance) and these taste just like the very BEST part of the cinnamon roll!  Sooooo gooooood~!!  I can only imagine how amazing this would taste if you "frosted" cinnamon rolls with this! OH!

Oh my GOODNESS! faints  My brother made another batch of this today, and took my suggestion to add the marshmallow creme at the END, when everything else is mixed/melted, and the pot is taken off the heat.  Not only did he have less trouble with sticking, it is FABULOUS!  It's a bit creamier this way, and I CAN'T STOP EATING IT!

It's like the best carrot cake frosting you've EVER tasted, and it's OH-SO-GOOD!

lol~ No!  That's part of why this is so cool -- I've been baking for the family for gifts for over 20 years, and my brother decided to start experimenting one day.  He has come up with some amazingly delicious concoctions over the years, and this cinnamon fudge is to die for! faint dead away  <-died and gone to heaven *snicker*

My dad also decided to start experimenting recently, though he has had some experience cooking over the years.  He started out with no recipe at all and just made one from scratch!  You'll be seeing a recipe for his scrumptious oatmeal bars here as soon as I can get him to write it down Laugh

On the other side of the coin is my elder sister... she can't cook worth a darn (and I can say that because she doesn't visit my forum! Snicker ) -- her husband actually sneaks off to fast food places after he's eaten her cooking!

OK, I've adjusted the recipe in the first post to reflect both the change in when to add the marshmallow cream, and to add the amount of chocolate chips needed.

My brother has been experimenting again, this time adding some nutmeg and pumpkin to the mix.  He put in too much pumpkin, so it didn't set up right, but I'm thinking that a little cream cheese, and it will make a great white chocolate-pumpkin cheesecake! Laugh
