    Legacy Games Specials and Releases

So you can buy four $2.95 games any time, across several months - and when you buy the 4th, your punch card is filled and you get a coupon. You can use the coupon on any game on their website - even their bundles.
VERY cool!  Only four games to get a free one, and no membership?  Awesome!

I was told that purchases can't be made from the trial window even if I'm logged in that they had to be made directly from the website that this was the only way to track the punches and put it in my purchase history but yet I receive an email from them thanking me for my purchase. Gee have to jump through some loop holes to get games to count as a punch and show up in the purchase history. Oh and the company is only 4 people??

ETA: They did add my punch and added to my history but told me to try to purchase directly from website in the future!

In addition, they give you a concrete calendar of when their new games are coming, so I'll be sure to (try to) remember to post those here.

I signed up for the Legacy newsletter today to help me remember to mention when the promos change.

Upon confirming my newsletter subscription, I got quite the surprise... A link to a free DRM-free copy of Fever Frenzy as a thank you for signing up! OH!  How nice is that?!

If you'd like to sign up, you can do so on the main Legacy web page HERE.  Scroll down and you'll find "Sign up for our Newsletter" on the bottom right-hand side of the page Sunny

They told me that I would get that Fever Frenzy thing for free when I signed up but didnt find it in the welcome or game activation stuff they sent me? Not that it'll interest me - it sounds suspiciously like a TM game and I'm hopeless at them...Yeah right

Well I had to write into them because I didn't receive a punch for this game and it's not even showing up in my purchase history when viewing my account but yet I purchased the game and playing it and I even received an email from them thanking me for my purchase. alien2

Hmm, same here, but I figured it was because I purchased the game before I joined up. Signing on for their newsletter isn't, I found out the hard way, isn't enough to become a member, you have to do the whole registration thing. I found out after I bought, so I assumed no punchcard.

Well Genki said on the other discussion/thread where we would put our reviews for this game:

That's right!  Every time you buy a game at Legacy, you get a punch without being a game club member!  AND, it's only four punches to a free game!   You can buy your four games on sale, and get any game (I think) with your free punch, even bundles!

I know I demoed it before signing up to be a member but I can't recall if I bought it first and THEN signed up to be a member Embarrassed  but as Genki said above. I guess I'll find it within 24 to 48 hours as I did receive an automated email telling me they would respond then. If not still a great deal to get a game for $2.95.

I don't think they can track you to give you your punches if you don't sign up to be a member.  I just meant no game club like BF's is needed to get the punch cards.

I just looked through my emails. I signed up for an account first to be a member and then I bought the game.

    Hi sporty!

Well, you know, all the best reviewers can't do TM, they're always too busy asking themselves "Am I enjoying this game? Hmm... What should I be saying about it?"Silly face Meanwhile, the world has turned, all our gnomes have been eaten by bears, or something unidentifiable Stars And we're wondering what we did wrong.

    SOS!

Oh and I also never received the Fever Frenzy game which is fine by me since that is a TM game. That's a definite no go!  I didn't mention that to them nor will I since it doesn't interest me. lol
