I purchased this with 2 credits. The beauty of this game is stunning. In fact, I often stop and just look long at the art before progressing. The beautiful graphics along with the understated almost respectful music sets the mood for a very good sequal to the first game. I must state that I am a sucker for beautiful graphics so I may have a bias here but I highly recommend this game.

Along with the usual (now days) adventure travel back and forth to several themed locations, the haunted objects (morphing objects) return and are even harder to discover. I enjoy looking for these and seldom find them all. I have not needed Hints for the HOS. They are fairly easy and are interactive as well. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in viewing the scenes that I forget to look for objects.

I did not Demo this but purchased it outright as I did enjoy the first game. I have not been disappointed. I have played about an hour or maybe a little more. I finished the first location, Tibet, and have just entered the second one, India. Puzzels are not difficult (have not skipped any) but may take a little thought occasionally. Some are standards - the rotating rings, the Hanoi Tower, jigsaw, etc. I am hoping for some new puzzles but even if there are none, I still enjoy these old standards.

If you like Adventure HOGs, please try the Demo. This is a CE. Look for the SE in probably 2 or 3 weeks.

    Absolutely Excellent Sequel

    BASED ON COMPLETED GAME

The first 1000 Doors was a gem, and this 2nd instalment surpasses it. Same structure for the game as before – a haunted house with an unlimited number of doors to other places. One of the best things about this game over its predecessor is the truly exotic locations for each adventure. Another is the introduction of an interactive jump map. I had no reason to use hint at all through the entire game because of this feature.

You can take it for granted that if I’ve rated a game with 5 stars, its graphics are gorgeous, there is appropriate ambient sound and pleasant music, and that the story is sustainable. The game mechanics are excellent, the HOs are good – no microscope needed, and the puzzles are up to a high standard, but not too too hard. I’m weak on puzzles J.

Definitely a Must Have for any HOPA fan.

    I recommend this game!
