    Pros
It is very involved, there is so much more to do than just HO scene after HO scene.

There lots of collectibles to obtain to make talismans (power ups) and relics and artifacts.

A message function which allows you to send messages to your neighbours.

Give and recieve gifts daily from neighbours, which helps you get the stuff you need to make the artifacts etc.

A "premium account" which restores your energy twice as fast, gives you more coins etc - although it looks quite expensive 150 diamonds for 30 days of benefits, the game is generous in giving diamonds and it's quite easy to save them to buy it without having to spend real cash. And once you have it, it gets even easier.

There are mini-games involving mazes, quests, slot machine, weekly and daily challenges, and lots and lots of locations which you will eventually discover.

    Cons
There are aspects of the game which aren't available to folk who play via BFG (it's a FB game which has been re-jigged for BF)

The battle function is unavailable to us.

The end goal in the weekly challenges and some locations are inaccessible to us.

Basically we can't do anything which involves gathering friends to form an expedition.

Having to rely on 10 daily randomly generated "friends" to invite to be neighbours - you rarely get a response, as a lot a "dead" games from folk who tried but didn't like.

A group of us has been in constant contact with CS and they, with the developers, are trying to sort out these issues. They have found a way for us to invite specific people to be neighbours, which apparently is "coming soon"... which is brilliant!!!!! Now they just have to sort out the rest.

Even with BF version's limitations, it is still enjoyable to play... well it's kept my attention, anyway Rooms of Memory "Free to Play" Biggrin

Yeah I clicked on that and I see where the instant games which are the streaming games playing with internet connection "the cloud" are being discontinued October 15 but I see nothing about F2P games being discontinued Nov 15. These are 2 separate things.

I think that the streaming games are different than the F2P's.  I sincerely doubt the F2P's are going anywhere -- they're making too much money off of them Yeah right  Besides, why bring out a game as TGT when it would be disappearing so soon?  Well, this IS Big Fish we're talking about, but still. Hmmm, I'm a bit lost - I must be getting old, all these new ways to play are getting confused in my mind. Oh well, I would never play streaming because I have limited data $$, and I don't like those f2p's because of the way $$ can easily get way out of hand. A bit like the casino, which I totally hate the very idea of... games that involve actual money in gambling puts us all at greater risk.

I agree -- I have a problem with the F2P's on a moral basis, which is why I post them with the title "Free to Play" in quotes.  If you want anything to happen in a TIMELY manner, you must pay!  However, that being said, I'm enjoying My Singing Monsters -- the game makes me smile every time I open it.  These things CAN be played without ever spending any money, but most people don't have the patience for it, I'm thinking.

I've had enough of these games on fb. I was hooked on "Gardens of Time" & spent about $50 total. And constantly having to ask my friends to play, just so I could expand my territory was a PITA. We got to where we were making up people...geesh.
    I'll NEVER play them again.

But I am still hooked on SongPop. Embarrassed
